The Joe Ben Wheat Database of Southwestern Textiles
Introduction
The Joe Ben Wheat Database of Southwest Textiles provides access to data collected by Dr. Joe Ben Wheat on southwestern US ethnographic textiles housed in more than fifty museums across the U.S., plus additional collections as data become available. The database is comprised of information for several thousand textiles, which were created in the American Southwest, most during the nineteenth century. Currently not all records have associated images; these will be added as they become available.
